The family-run Hotel America occupies a historic building in the Old Town of Locarno, just steps away from the train station and Lake Maggiore. Its restaurant has a terrace on the Piazza Grande. The soundproof rooms feature a flat-screen TV, wooden floors, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony. The America restaurant includes a pizzeria and offers live music. A wide range of grilled meat and fish specialities is served. In the evenings, guests can have drinks in the medieval Caverna Degli Dei. Free WiFi is available throughout the America hotel. Guests arriving by car receive a 50% discount at the Casinò underground parking, located 250 metres from the property. Meeting rooms for up to 26 persons including a projector are available.
