Chalet Aquila 7 is a conveniently located high-end 4-bedroom penthouse holiday apartment with a mezzanine/loft perfectly positioned for ski-in / ski-out and mountain hiking trails. Located in the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen with a ski slope right outside and a short ski or walk to the village cable car station, the mountains and ski areas are truly on your doorstep! It’s also just a short 300m walk to the train station or the nearest supermarket. This top-floor luxury apartment sleeps up to 8 people, has 4 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms each with a king-sized bed and 1 bedroom with bunk bed and 2 single beds in the open mezzanine/loft… a cosy hideaway for the kids! All beds are European sizes. The apartment has 3 bathrooms; 1 family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, 1 en-suite bathroom with shower and WC, and 1 bathroom with a bath and WC on the mezzanine/loft level. Warm your toes in front of a roaring fire with a glass of wine and some fine Swiss cheeses while enjoying the abundance of natural light through the large picture windows framing the exquisite views of the Lauterbrunnen valley, and the Jungfrau region. This property is located in Wengen, a stunning alpine village in the heart of the Jungfrau Region. Important: Wengen is a car-free mountain village with no road access. Private vehicles are not allowed. There is no road to drive to Wengen. The only way to access Wengen is by train. Guests must drive to the village of Lauterbrunnen, located in the valley below, where you will find a large multi-storey parking garage next to the Lauterbrunnen train station. You must park your car there for the duration of your stay. From Lauterbrunnen, it’s a 12-minute scenic train ride up the mountain to Wengen. Trains run regularly throughout the day and well into the evening. Once you arrive in Wengen, taxis are available to take you and your luggage to the apartment, if needed.
