This 5-star chalet in Zermatt, close to the Klein Matterhorn Cable Car, offers stylish apartments with a unique ski-in and ski-out location, as well as free WiFi access. Each of Chalet Altesse’s apartments has a balcony or terrace and offers panoramic Matterhorn views. They are all accessible by lift. Bed linen is provided, and towels are changed once a week. Built from natural stone and wood in modern Alpine style, the Chalet Altesse features top-quality contemporary furnishings and spa facilities, including a Finnish sauna and a steam bath. Several services can be organised at an additional cost, including meal deliveries from a restaurant, groceries, laundry, and extra cleaning. On request, fresh bread can be organised every morning at a surcharge. The bus stop, a grocery store, and a playground are only a short walk away from Chalet Altesse.

I grew up in the hospitality industry thanks to my parents who run the successful restaurant Zum See in Zermatt. Our aim is always to make our guests feel welcomed and give our most to make their stay unique and memorable. The unique connection of our business with our restaurant Zum See gives our Chalet a quality label - who loves Zum See will love our Chalet Altesse. WHEN YOU ARE BOOKING THE FOUR GUEST RATE, THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE ONLY TWO BEDROOMS OUT OF THE THREE. OTHERWISE, YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE THE 6 GUEST RATE, IN ORDER TO USE ALL ROOMS.

The neighborhood where the Chalet is located is a cute residential area of Zermatt called Winkelmatten. Very well connected to the ski lifts, charming tiny center with old hamlets, a white little chapel and playground give the neighborhood a special touch. I grew up in Winkelmatten and believe it is the best place to stay in Zermatt, away from the crowds of tourists but close enough to all amenities of Zermatt.
