Our chalet dates back to the 1800s and was fully renovated by us in November 2022. It features two separate apartments under one roof, each spread over two floors. Both apartments have their own private entrance, outdoor seating area, living room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms. In front of the chalet, you’ll find a spacious shared garden with several seating areas, fire pits, and BBQs. To ensure a calm atmosphere for everyone, we kindly ask guests not to use the front garden after 20:00 and instead enjoy their own private outdoor areas. We bought the chalet in 2018 and immediately began transforming it into a guesthouse. Over the years, we completed several major renovations, including raising the ceilings to create bright, comfortable spaces while preserving the charm of the original building.

Patricia and I (Dave) have been living in Switzerland for 15 years, and we’re proud parents of two children, Daniel and Veronika. After so many years in this beautiful region, we’ve come to know the area—and its people—very well. We both enjoy the wide variety of outdoor activities available here. At home, we love gardening, cooking, and spending time on our hobbies, such as carpentry and reading. Patricia comes from a background in the hotel industry, while I work locally as a handyman. A river runs right beside the house, and the parking area connects directly to the main road for easy access. There’s also a bicycle path nearby that links to both Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken. The center of Lauterbrunnen is just a 10-minute walk away, or a quick 2-minute trip by bus or car. Our location is perfect for exploring the region, with easy access to Trümmelbach Falls, Jungfraujoch, Giessbach, Schynige Platte, Harderkulm, Blausee, Kandersteg, Wengen, and many other beautiful destinations.
