Cricerhaus er staðsett í gamla bænum í Visp, í sögulegri byggingu frá 1577. Gististaðurinn býður upp á fjallaútsýni og ókeypis WiFi. Íbúðin er staðsett á 2. hæð hússins og er með stofu með 2 beddum, tveggja manna herbergi, fullbúnu eldhúsi, þvottavél, sjónvarpi, útvarpi og baðherbergi með sturtu. Næsti veitingastaður er í 200 metra fjarlægð og matvöruverslun er í 300 metra fjarlægð frá Cricerhaus. Það eru nokkrir barir og fleiri veitingastaðir í nágrenninu. Visp er góður upphafspunktur fyrir skoðunarferðir til Zermatt, í 36 km fjarlægð, eða Saas-Fee, í 27 km fjarlægð. Lestarstöð Visp og strætóstoppistöð eru í 700 metra fjarlægð.

This unique appartment is located on the second floor of the Cricer House which was built in 1577 and was fully renovated in 1983 / 84.
The CRICER House is located in the center of the quiet old town of Visp.
Only a 10 minutes walk from the train station and in close proximity to shops, restaurants and bars.
Visp is the ideal starting point to enjoy the varied sights of the upper Valais.
Besides the world-famous destinations like Zermatt and Saas-Fee you find a multitude of small and medium-sized stations in the area around Visp.
Visp is touristically and culturally a very intersting region, offering many attractive possibilities for recreational acitivities.
The large appartment 95 m2 consisting of a living room with two double bed-sofas beds (sleeping accomodation for 4 persons), a separate bedroom with two single beds,
The well equipped eat-in kitchen (large fridge with freezer, baking oven, microwave ofen, induction stove) with corner-seat as well as a spacious entrance area, offers ample space for up to 5 persons.
The sanitary facilities include a toilet with a shower and a seperate toilet. In a facility room there is a washing machine and a clothlines.
Joder Chritzer (also known as Crützer of Kreuzer) built this impressive building in 1577 for his wife and 16 children.
Most characteristic is the first floor with the round-top windows and the round-top entrance in particular.
Ochre coloured tuff stone was used for all decoreated window and door frames.
The upper floors are wooden constructions as is customary in the Valais.
The entrance archway is decorated with a beautiful scroll ornament. On the main entrance archway Joder Kritzer wrote:
«JODER CRICER/CASTELAN. ZV VISP/ WEN. GOT. WIL/ SO. IST. MIN. ZIL. 1577» (If it is God's will, then Joders ambition shall be God).
The basement / Carnotzet, features a semi-derelict tunnel which was used in the Middle Ages as a secret escape route for the noblemen.
In 1984 the Cricer house has been renovated completely and professionally by the owners. The Cricer house is a listed building.
