In the apartment for 4 people, you will quickly feel at home. Spacious (70m2 and 10m2 balcony) and fully equipped with a beautiful view of the Urserntal and Winterhorn. The balcony is south facing where it is often good to stay. There are 2 spacious bedrooms and a half open kitchen. In the bathroom you will find shower and toilet furniture with ample storage options. The spacious toilet is separate. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with a large induction plate, dishwasher, large fridge with small freezer, oven with grill, filter coffee machine, Nespresso pixie and a microwave. The bedrooms, each with two single beds, have a large storage cupboard. The living room has a large dining table with 6 comfortable chairs and a seating area. A baby bed and highchair are also available on request. For the use of washing machine and dryer (central) an appointment must be made in advance. In winter, the ski bus stops right outside. The parking space is in front of or next to the building where also a charging point can be found. Use of washing machine and tumbler only on request. Equipment such as bikes and skis are to be stored in the ski Keller which is only accessible with a key.

Part of our roots lie in Andermatt and that is why we come there a lot. We love active holidays and are enthusiastic skiers and hikers and for that you are in Andermatt good. In summer fauna and flora have our interest and there is a lot of seeing along the many paths. If you pay close attention, you will see chamois, ibex, deer and roe deer. The mountain marmots whistle when you get there and regularly the Golden Eagle circles near the ridges. Therefore, take binoculars with you! The skier will find challenging and easy slopes in winter and long langlauf tracks. Our favourite slope is that from the Gemsstock at 2964 meter to the village of Andermatt (altitude difference over 1600 m) and is one of the best in the Alps. When you step out the door you only must walk 5 minutes to get to the cable car. There are also a few beautiful hikes (small and large ‘Rundweg’). Furthermore, we recommend that you, both in summer and winter, take a walk on the Gütsch with its beautiful views. In summer, a walk to the origin of the Rhine and the Pazolastock is recommended. The beautiful nature and mountains of Andermatt offer many possibilities for a winter or summer holiday. It is also a beautiful village that with Hospental and Realp forms the Urserntal. Traditionally known from the Gotthard Pass to Ticino, the Furka Pass to Valais and the Oberalp Pass to Graubünden. This makes it very centrally located in the Swiss Alps. All within walking distance of the apartment is a large Coop, a bakery and a butcher for daily shopping. There is a large choice of restaurants and sports shops where skis and bicycles can be rented. In the historic shopping street is a beautiful museum. In summer Andermatt is ideal for discovering the Alps, exploring the rugged nature or lazing on one of the beautiful lakes in the area. At short distance there are beautiful and challenging hikes and there is a beautiful 18 hole golf course. The valley is very attractive for mountain biker and cyclist. If the weather is a bit bad, you can easily reach the beautiful Ticino with its pleasant subtropical climate. Both the cable car to the Gemsstock (at 2964 m), the cable train to the Gütsch and the train station of the famous Matterhorn-Gotthard Bahn can be found nearby.
