On the sunny plateau of Melchsee-Frutt in the Swiss Alps, 1,920 meters above sea level, this hotel features a spa and an open-air lounge with mountain views. Stöckalp SMF Ski Lift is 150 metres away. The resort consists of two buildings, the family friendly Lago Lodge and the Mountain Lodge, which are connected by a tunnel. The resort offers spacious rooms with views of the Alps or the Melchsee Lake. Interiors feature smart wooden floors and natural materials. Comforts include bathrobes and free wired internet. The Frutt Mountain Resort has three restaurants, one specialised in Alpine cuisine, one in Italian delights and the other offering steakhouse specialties. Guests can enjoy drinks and panoramic views in the lobby with fireplace. Guests over 14 years enjoy free access to the Frutt Spa that features an indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and steam room. Guests can book relaxing massages and treatments which use local spa products. The Frutt Family Spa is available for children younger than 14 years. For guests with dogs, the hotel offers dog equipment like a dog pillow, dog treats and dog toys on request. Skiing and hiking trails begin just outside the hotel, and Melchsee Lake is 200 metres away. Frutt Mountain Resort offers reduced ski passes and storage space for equipment. Please note that Melchsee-Frutt is a car-free zone. Parking is possible at the cable car valley station against a surcharge. During summer guests can take the car to certain points in Melchsee-Frutt, only during restricted times.
Please note further that the Frutt Spa´s swimming pool and sauna are only accessible for guest older than 14 and 16, respectively.
In winter, the hotel cannot be accessed by car and no parking is available at the hotel. Guests can leave their cars at the Stöckalp parking lot or use pre-booked garage parking, both at an additional cost. In summer, it is possible to drive to Melchsee-Frutt, where parking is available at an additional cost.
The cable car ticket from Stöckalp to Melchsee-Frutt includes luggage transport (only until 17:20 in summer and 17:30 in winter).
