I am Angie and I thoroughly enjoy having people to stay with me. I love my house and try to keep it as comfortable and authentic as possible. I am always doing little renovation projects to make the house more appealing. The next job is the main bathroom which is about to be renovated. I am an editor/translator and a former school teacher. I have lived in numerous countries and speak numerous languages. I came to Leysin 6 years ago to teach and love it.

My property is an original chalet in the true Swiss style. It is completely made of wood and is very warm and comfortable in the winter and stays lovely and cool in the summer. The house only has two rooms to rent out making it very personal and enjoyable. Outside there is a large terrace with a barbecue for those lovely summer evenings when it stays light till late in the evening. The house is well situated at the lower end of the village. It is within a stone's throw of the lower sporting with it's ice rink and the toboggan park. The riding stables are also just around the corner. Going to the restaurants and shopping can all be done on foot as everything is within a 500 metre radius. In the winter the free navette runs past my house and takes you directly to the cable car. This service is also available in the summer.

There is a lot to do in Leysin. All the winter sports are represented and there is a fair amount of activities to do in the summer as well. We have yoga workshops, herbal workshops, Zumba classes, weight training facilities, swimming pool, sauna - in fact, most things that you can think of in our tiny village. Leysin is also not far away from Montreux and easily accessible by road or by train which runs from Aigle to Leysin hourly. This is a picturesque trip through the vineyards and should be taken by everyone. The house from the road on google maps :
