The Motel Gottardo Sud can be found 7 minutes from the A2 / E35 highway, south of the Gotthard tunnel. It offers quiet rooms, tasty food, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Situated on the edge of the typical village of Piotta, surrounded by meadows and woods, the Motel Gottardo Sud is an ideal place for a quick stopover or as a base for excursions. Europe's steepest funicular can be found in Piotta, connecting the village to the Ritom lake in the Piora valley. The lower terminus is just 500 metres away from the Motel Gottardo Sud.
