The chalet has 2 floors, which you occupy alone with your own entrance.
Around the living room, called our parlour, there is a terrace of 52 m2, which is waiting for you only. Equipped with tables and deckchairs and many colourful flowers and shrubs, you will be able to enjoy the view of Mont Blanc and the other alpine greats and, last but not least, the largest lake in Switzerland. Even at night they are here as in the sky, can observe star images, the moon plunging into the lake... and see the city lights, as on the Mullholanddrive.
Renting my own chalet and this particularly lovingly and charmingly house built and furnished by me personally 40 years ago, to make it available to the many people from all over the world again and again, I find very exciting and it delights me every time to hear or read how well and relaxing the well-deserved holidays in my wooden house are or were. I react immediately to comments of the guests and try to make it even more beautiful and comfortable for my dear and demanding clientele, even though it has been offered for rent since 1984. Although I come from a different background, CEO of a woodworking company, I have always dreamed of a pension or a hotel that I could offer to travellers to Switzerland. It hasn't grown as big as I'd hoped, but at least in a small way it has come close to that. Cosy and with a panoramic view of Lake Neuchâtel and the Alps behind it, with its king Mont Blanc just as exciting and unique in the region.
I wouldn't want to miss this beautiful feeling of seeing guests happy.
The chalet is fully immersed in the nature of the Jura foot and its location 780m above sea level is very healthy and ideal in terms of lake and mountain distance.
It takes 5 minutes by car to the natural beach of Lake Neuchâtel and 10 minutes to the first ski lift in the mountains.
You arrive with your dog, that is no problem, too. Behind the house you can dive into the forest with your darling and do short or long hikes to the highest point, the Chasseron 1599m high, 4.5 hours on foot.
Our area is still very natural and you can relax here very well.
Also for the guests, who are sporty, many kinds of activities are waiting. Paragliding in Mauborget (only 10 minutes by car above the chalet), cycling along countless paths through the vineyards, forest and fields and meadows, wakeboarding at the lake with lift, horse riding in Mauborget and tennis in Montagny pres Yverdon, skating in Laubersson at the natural lake and much more.
For the gourmets, there is also a special feature: truffle hunting with or without a dog. You get an overview of excellent restaurants from me, as well as the hiking offers at your arrival.
