The Hotel Derby offers a very central location on the main street of Zermatt, 50 metres from the train station and the Gornergrat Railway and a 5-minute walk from the Sunnegga Cable Car. Free WiFi is available. The rooms in the main building are furnished in chalet-style with a lot of wood, and the rooms in the Residence Bellevue building were renovated in winter 2014. Each unit comes with a minibar, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom. The property also offers apartments with a fully equipped kitchen. Most rooms have a balcony. The restaurant features a terrace and serves Italian and international cuisine, as well as flambé dishes. We grant our hotel guests a 15% discount in our restaurant. The Klein-Matterhorn Cable Car and the Schwarzsee Lake can be reached by bus (included in the ski pass) or on foot in just a few minutes from the Derby Hotel. Shops can be found around the Hotel Derby and a tennis court is a 1-minute walk away. Hiking and biking trails start at the doorstep.
