This typical Swiss chalet hotel with mountain views is centrally located in Lauterbrunnen in the heart of the Jungfrau Ski Region, a 7-minute walk from the Train Station. Hotel Schützen Lauterbrunnen was renovated in 2013 and features a cozy restaurant with an open fireplace and a garden terrace. During winter, the family-run restaurant with its fireplace offers a relaxing and homely Swiss atmosphere. In summer, superb views from the garden terrace towards the mountains can be enjoyed. A breakfast is available for a surcharge. For breakfast guests can select from an extensive buffet with many local specialties. In the evening guests may choose from Swiss à la carte dishes. In winter guests can enjoy ski-to-door access from Schilthorn or Mürren. Cable cars are leaving from Grütschalp and Stechelberg and take guests right back to lauterbrunnen valley. The world-famous 311-metre Staubbach waterfall can be seen from Hotel Schützen Lauterbrunnen. Hotel Schützen has a bus stop close by, which is in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is open throughout the day and evening, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy Swiss cuisine in a comfortable and inviting setting. The hotel underwent another refresh in 2025 to enhance guest comfort while preserving its authentic Alpine character.
