The historic Waldhotel Unspunnen is situated in wooded surroundings with panoramic views to the famous mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Offering free WiFi and free parking, it is reachable within a 20-minute walk or a 4-minute drive from the Interlaken-West train station. It is an ideal base for excursions to the mountains, the lakes or any adventure activities. The local host (4th generation) and the staff have good knowledge about the area and are happy to provide advice about what to do. You can enjoy tasty Swiss food at the hotels Schnadis restaurant on the sunny terrace offering magnificent view to the mountains. A kitchen with self-cooking facilities as well as a self-washing is available. Guests are given the Interlaken Guest Card at the Waldhotel which entitles them to use the public transportation within Interlaken for free. The nearest bus stop is called „Heimwehfluh“ and it takes only 8 minutes on foot from or to the hotel.

Bretland„The location has great views, but is close to the motorway so can be noisy if all the doors and windows are open. Easy to drive to Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen etc, but would be a bit of a trek if walking.
