Welcome to paradise on the Pacific coast of Colombia. Stay in an entire home, built with local materials, in the same traditional style used for generations that overlooks the sea. I have built and extended my home over many years, it has a small herb garden. I have created an integrated experience with my guests, trying to create the feeling of a family style homestead while you share time with me and the locals, set in one of the most bio-diverse natural areas on the planet.

I am a Colombian who has lived by the Pacific ocean for more than 17 years. I love nature, indigenous culture and animales. I am happy to share my beautiful home and surroundings with national and international visitors.

The house is set in the small village of Arusí where the local economy relies on fishing and farming. Like most small villages in the world the neighbors are both friendly and curious about visitors; if so choose you will have the opportunity to integrate with your temporary neighbors. Beyond human life the rainforest meets the sea. The surrounding forest is one of the most bio-diverse in the world with extensive bird life, amphibians such as small poisonous frogs as well as hundreds of different types of flora and fauna. Nearby about 40 minutes walk away in another village called termales is a spa and treatment center. It has to be one of the most remote natural spa’s in the world, with natural pools and a number of services such as massages and natural skin treatments. The house is called “Casa Colibrí” which in English means hummingbird house.
