Palmeira is a typical Cape Verdean fishing village, where tourism has not yet arrived.
The locals are friendly and peaceful. The house is just 100 meters from the sea.
Fishermen go out every morning and bring back fresh fish.
On weekends, you can enjoy traditional parties with grilled fish or meat and Cape Verdean music by the ocean.
From autumn to March, Arminda’s Bar is a meeting place for sailors arriving from the Atlantic — a great spot to meet new people!
