The ALPENFREUND Apartments 1-3 are completely new furnished and lovingly furnished in alpine style. The mountain view from all apartments create a spacious and homely ambience. The large windows in the living / sleeping areas and the bedroom offer a wonderful view of the Karwendel. The apartments are equipped with new large and comfortable boxspring double beds. The comfortable sofa bed is quickly converted into a double bed and offers two additional beds, so that the apartments ALPENFREUND 1 +2 can be used with up to 6 people. The optimal occupancy of these apartments is 4 people. The Apartment ALPENFREUND 3 can be used by up to 8 people. The optimal occupancy of this apartment is up to 6 people. The kitchens are fully equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils and provide seating for 4-6 persons (ALPENFREUND 1 +2) and 6-8 persons (ALPENFREUND 3) in the living room. The bathrooms have shower trays with glass partition. On the spacious balcony you can sit and enjoy the view to the Karwendel Mountains.

In winter, the ski area around the Kranzberg offers families with children excellent skiing and snowboarding opportunities. Those looking for a bit higher elevation and seeking more demanding slopes will drive through the new tunnel behind the border to Tyrol, which takes about 15 minutes to the Rosshütte ski area in Seefeld. From spring to autumn, the area around the Kranzberg and around the Karwendel Mountains is one of the top destinations for climbing, mountain hiking, mountain biking, kayaking or many other sports. Mittenwald is only 1/2 hour away from Innsbruck. To Munich it is about 1 hour drive. The connection to public transport is very good and offers both travel options by train, long-distance busses and public busses.
