Located 300 metres from the Holsten Gate in Lübeck’s Old Town, this elegant non-smoking hotel offers contemporary-style rooms in the city’s oldest brick building. Rooms offer a flat-screen TV and free calls within Germany. Equipped with high-speed internet, all rooms in the Anno 1216 have unique antique elements. Some rooms have wooden ceiling beams, while others feature Baroque-style ceiling frescos. Guests can choose to relax on the hotel terrace. Lübeck’s historic sites are steps away, with the Marienkirche Church and popular Buddenbrookhaus less than 700 metres from the hotel. A 20-minute drive takes guests to Timmendorfer Beach along the Baltic Coast. Anno 1216 is a 2-minute walk from the An der Untertrave bus stop and a 5-minute drive from Lübeck Central Station.
