The 55 m² holiday apartment on the ground floor consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a bedroom as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 3 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a safe, satellite television, a baby cot and a highchair. The spacious private outdoor area features a covered terrace with greenery, where you can start the day with breakfast and spend the evenings with a glass of wine and tasty dinners from the barbecue. From the property, you can reach supermarkets, bakeries, a pharmacy, cafés, restaurants and the train station on foot within 13 minutes (1.1 km). The closest beach of Lake Constance, where you can swim in the clear blue water, surrounded by a wonderful lake and mountain panorama, is located in the pretty town of Radolfzell, which is a 20-minute drive (24.5 km) or 23 minutes by train from Engen. Schaffhausen in Switzerland is a 30-minute drive (25 km) from the property. Furthermore, the island Reichenau, a World Heritage Site, is located 38 km or a 29-minute drive away, also close to the picturesque old town centre of Konstanz, which is famous for its centuries-old buildings, charming architecture and the cathedral. The area around Singen offers numerous great hiking and cycling routes through scenic landscapes and along the lakeshores. An extinct volcano, the “Hohentwiel”, is only a 16-minute drive (14 km) away and offers fantastic views over Singen and the scenic landscape after you have hiked up. In winter, you can even go skiing an 18-minute drive (15 km) away or across the nearby Swiss border. Parking spaces are available on the property as well as on the street. Pets are not allowed.
