This hostel is a historic building which is quietly situated in the heart of Rostock’s historic Old Town district. The Blue Doors Hostel Altstadt offers free Wi-Fi as well as free internet terminals in the lobby. Built in 1890, rooms at the Blue Doors Hostel Altstadt Rostock are spacious and brightly furnished. All include lockers, reading lamps and a seating area, and there are shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning, or prepare their own meals in the common kitchen. Drinks are also available at reception. The hostel is just 300 metres from Neuer Markt, Rostock’s main square. The shops and restaurants of the Kröpeliner Straße are within a 5-minute walk. Rostock Main Station is a 15-minute walk from the Blue Doors Hostel Altstadt. Regular trams go from Neuer Markt.
