Welcome to Homebase Vacation eG – your temporary home! It all started a few years ago in Winterberg, with a healthy dose of passion for hosting. What began small has since grown: Today, we operate over 20 accommodations in Hessen, Nordrhein-Westfalen und Rheinland-Pfalz. And the number is constantly growing! We have a soft spot for beautiful places – and for large groups: That's why we specifically look for locations where we can offer multiple apartments in the same building. This way, families, groups of friends, or teams can travel together while still enjoying individual accommodations. And because vacation is more than just an overnight stay, we'll give you our best tips for local activities, excursions, and restaurants in advance – personally tested, of course! We also welcome small guests and four-legged friends! Our mission is clear: We want everyone to have a truly wonderful time. Freshly renovated old building charm on 90m², perfectly located near Frankenberg's old town and shopping mile. The 3.5 room half-timbered house is furnished with stylish furniture and you will find a number of extras here that far exceed the standards of normal holiday apartments, but the cozy old building charm is retained. A self check-in gives you the option of checking in flexibly without having to agree on an exact arrival time for handing over the keys. You are in a very central location right at the entrance to the historic old town, which is well worth seeing. A few meters further you can go down the stairs to the Ederufer and the stairs opposite lead directly to the castle hill. Many restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The train station is 10 minutes away on foot. The Kellerwald National Park (15 minutes) offers great hiking opportunities all year round. The Edersee can also be reached in 15-20 minutes. The cities of Marburg and Kassel can each be reached in 30 minutes and are worth a day trip! In winter you can reach the ski lift in Winterberg in 25-30 minutes, depending on the traffic situation (in summer the bike park too, of course). It is 40 minutes to Willingen.
