This 4-star hotel with restaurant offers a daily breakfast buffet and free parking. It stands beside the forest in Milchborntal, a 5-minute walk from Bensberg Palace and a short drive or train journey from Cologne. Family-run since 1925, the Romantik Waldhotel Mangold has fully-equipped rooms with a safe, minibar and free WiFi. Some rooms offer scenic views of Bensburg Palace. The Waldstuben restaurant serves regional and seasonal specialities made from natural ingredients and has an open fireplace as well as a covered terrace, Waldstuben Café serves fresh waffles, pancakes and ice cream. The house has three event rooms, a bar, a club room and a dance floor. In summer, two covered terraces and a large park with deck chairs are also at guests' disposal. In addition to numerous jogging and hiking paths, there are also 5 golf courses in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Romantik Waldhotel Mangold is a 15-minute walk from Bensberg Underground Station. The Wellness Oase Mediterana is 1 km away. Cologne's exhibition grounds, the city centre and Cologne/Bonn Airport can easily be reached in 15 minutes.
