Just 1.4 km from the Chiemsee Lake, this charming family-run hotel in Rimsting offers a garden and an on-site gift shop. Classic-style rooms feature free Wi-Fi. A TV, work desk and private bathroom with a hairdryer are included in each of the bright rooms at Hotel zur Sonne. Large mirrors and peaceful neutral colours feature throughout, and most offer a balcony. A rich and varied breakfast buffet is served each morning in the bright, country-style breakfast room. You will also find a number of restaurants within a 15-minute walk. The beautiful countryside and tranquil lake offer the ideal base for cycling, hiking and water sports. Trips can be made to the Herrenchiemsee Island and the Fraueninsel Island from the Chiemseeschifffahrt ferry point, which is 3km from the hotel. Prien am Chiemsee Train Station is 3.4 km away, and Hotel zur Sonne provides free on-site parking.
