This is a unique property in Jarabacoa thanks to its special location, a very secure place inside a private ranch, close to the river, and a 20-meter distance from a forest walking trail. In addition to our indoor gas stove, you will find a light portable charcoal BBQ grill, a fixed outdoor BBQ charcoal grill, and two outdoor wood-fired stoves. Please be ready to live the experience of pure Dominican country life. We are located inside a private farm, far from noisy neighbors and city traffic, and only 3 minutes from the city center. We will provide you with free 5-gallon spring drinking water during your stay. For our small pool, washroom, and kitchen, we use natural water from the river or our supernatural well source. During heavy rainy days or when raining in nearby mountains, the pool might be temporarily closed. We rely on our backup power system (inversor in Spanish) good enough to provide several hours of power. Save the planet, save water and energy.

It is an honor to introduce myself. I am a professor of Mastering Public Diplomacy at the University of Ottawa in Canada, a retired Canadian diplomat, lawyer, and former professional violinist from several symphony orchestras around the globe. Besides these formal activities, I am a retired Air Force Skydiving instructor officer. This is a property inside a private ranch, full of livestock, birds, and nature, therefore, a very quiet and safe place to enjoy picturesque landscapes. Take the walking trail that brings you to the river and La Confluencia Park, simply turn left on the road next to the house. After 7 minutes walk you will reach the river. Our only neighbor is Mr. Felix (65), his wife, and next to it lives his brother Rafa, all typical Dominican country-style people. Felix and Rosina are open to helping you when possible. Here you do not have to worry about nearby noisy neighbors or traffic as in rental apartments. The closest convenience store and shops are at only 10 minutes of walking distance, some with free delivery services.
