The Eco-Suite is located at 2,5 km from Mindo village or 20 mn walking. It has an area of 50m², on a 6000 m² plot of land, also housing the box of a horse. The cottage consists of a double room, a canapé lit in the living room, a bathroom with an outside panoramic shower with hot water, a full equipped american kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove, .... and includes all utensils, a living room and a terrace with barbecue. In the garden, a river borders the cottage and a small waterfall at 15 mn. For a fourth person, we add a mattress on the floor. The property includes free Wi-Fi access. Thanks to its solar panels and its large bay windows to keep the heat of the sun, the Eco-Suite fits perfectly in its quiet and idyllic environment. Your pets are welcome. You will be cut off from the world, amidst lush nature, among more than 120 species of birds as well as dozens species of butterflies that you can observe from your terrace or in the garden. Within a 15-minute walk you will find a first series of magnificent waterfalls almost private where you can bath.

You will be in the middle of nature, in the midst of some 2000 species of plants and 450 species of birds that populate the 19,000 hectares of Mindo's tropical cloud forest. As an option, you can take advantage of many services: shopping, laundry, local guide, as well as many activities: night excursion to observe animals, visit a butterfly and hummingbird farm, visit a chocolate factory, horse riding, tree climbing, tubbing (down the river in a buoy), massages, yoga, 4x4 at your disposal and many others. I am Dominique Olivares owner of the Eco-chalets. 1) It is important to note that the suite uses solar panels for electricity so turn off the lights when you leave a room. As such, high watt electronics such as hair dryers, clothes irons, curling irons, blenders, electric coffee makers, microwaves, etc., are strictly prohibited because of their potential to fry our battery supply. The guest is able to charge low watt items such as cell phones, computers, and other small, electronic gadgets without issue. 2) Smoking is not permitted indoors. 3) Shoes are not permitted indoors. Due to situation, shoes must be left outside in the space reserved for this use. 4) Do not leave the gate behind the cottage open to prevent the horse from escaping. 5) Do not ride the horse or feed it (or on request - optional).
