Relax in this special cosy cabin in the middle of nature. Our Aroha Cabin is completely off-grid and the ideal place to wind down, detox and leave all stress behind. It offers a comfortable double bed, a self-contained kitchen with a gas stove, a small couch and a breakfast table. Outside you will find a roofed terrace to enjoy your meals on and a fire place for cosy evenings as well as an outdoor shower and toilet. As the whole cabin is off-grid there is no running water or electricity.

Welcome at Aroha Cabin! I am very happy to be your host. My name is Simone. I am originally from Germany but moved to this beautiful place in southern Estonia 7 years ago. What I love most about it is the untouched nature. I am a potter and offer workshops also to my guests. I hope you will have a fantastic stay and enjoy the calmness of my place as much as I do

The cabin is surrounded by lush forest that invites you for a peaceful walk. There are several lakes just a short drive away, like the Rõuge Suurjärv, Estonias deepest lake. As the name suggests it is located in the scenic little town of Rõuge, which is only 8km away. Here you also find an ancient village as well as a small handicraft shop and a café. Other attractions in the area are Estonias highest mountain the Suur Muna Mägi, the Luhasoo swamp, with its unique flora and fauna as well as a beautiful swimming lake, the Hinni Canyon and Karula and Haanja Nationalpark. Võru is the next bigger city and a 15km drive way. Eventhough it is a fairly small town it is home to several very nice cafés and restaurants and yet another great lake to swim in.
