Iparagirre, in its present form, dates from 1762, though records show that there was a property here of that name in 1508. The village of Lekeitio is nearby and can be walked to in around 15 minutes (5 mins by car). There are gardens and access to barbeque and a pizza oven. The apartments are newly constructed with all new amenities and decor. They are comfortable with a rustic yet modern feel. There are 3 comfotrtable and spacious apartments, one of which has been prepared specifically for guests with reduced mobility and has been provided with wheelchair access directly from the carpark. Pets are welcome.

Iparagirre is located on the mountain overlooking the village of Lekeitio. Around the caserio there are forests and rustic walks to explore, on foot, or by bicycle. The village can be arrived at on foot though a forest walk and has many bars and restaurants. There are 3 beautiful beaches, Isuntza, Salvaje, and Karraspio. The port is the ideal location to enjoy an apéritif overlooking the port and the island of Garraitz.
