Hotel Carlos V is located next to the Alcázar Fortress and Toledo’s famous Cathedral. Most rooms have excellent views of this world heritage city and all are equipped with air conditioning. The Carlos V serves a buffet breakfast in its Mudéjar-style dining room. It is just 200 metres from Plaza Zocodover, Toledo's main square, where there is a selection of restaurants and cafés. The AVE Train Station is 1.5 km from the hotel, and there is a direct bus which leaves from a stop 200 metres from the hotel. There is a public car park 200 metres away.
