Besalú is a historic town that has preserved its structure of narrow streets, churches, monasteries, Jewish baths, as well as the medieval bridge, the true emblem of the town and of great patrimonial importance, practically intact.
In the street of Count Tallaferro we can find a building from the Romanesque period, from the end of the 13th century. The interior has been completely renovated over the centuries, but on the façade we can still see the Romanesque traces. It is believed that initially it was much larger, but today it has been wedged between two buildings.
