A delightful house for 4 people with wooden beamed ceilings, great views and a log fire. We are in a tiny village beside the National Park, so if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to stay, this is the place for you. 40 minutes drive from the coast; 8KM from Cangas de Onis. We have beautiful views and fantastic walks in the Picos de Europa. The National Park is right outside and we are only 40 minutes’ drive from the sea. We welcome people who enjoy hiking and exploring and we have a selection of maps of the area to lend guests. You have a small patio in front of the house with a dining area and We also offer you use of a shared top patio with quite stunning views of the Dobra valley. PLease note that Google maps calls the village VISTA.

We live next door and can help with information and any guidance you might need. We grow organic vegetables and sell eggs from our free range hens. We are also keen hikers. We are language teachers by profession with a long career in UK universities so if you would like to improve your Spanish or English during your stay, just let us know!

Vis is a very quiet village. In summer, neighbours’ families come to stay so it gets a bit more lively with children, but at night time you will mostly hear just owls and maybe wild boar.
