With great enthusiasm we began to manage the Hostal Jume, an emblematic establishment in the heart of Mahón, about five years ago. Year after year we have been reforming and remodelling, until we achieved a fresh and new air without losing its original style: cheerful and cozy common areas, modern, practical and functional rooms. The result is a small urban hotel with a "vintage" air that takes care of the detail and wants to surprise you with its quality and its good management. A fresh design, a bit of "vintage" style, light colours, natural wood, careful lighting ... The Hostal Jume has been decorated with loving care and is run with the aim to provide for its guests a pleasant and profitable stay. You will love its atmosphere and its positive and professional attitude. In addition to the rooms, which our cleaning crew maintains spotless and which are all air conditioned, we have many corners that will surprise you. We invite you to discover our charming patios and cheerful corridors, to use our “bike-corner” and “coffee-corner”, to try our breakfast of varied local products, and to ask at reception for help with anything you need.
Whether you travel for work or if you are on holidays, we try to create a space where you can feel comfortable, where you can really relax and have support for everything you want to achieve. Our Hostal is situated right in the heart of Mahón, but on a side street with practically no traffic. We are located next to the market place, just a few steps from the pedestrian zone and directly above the beautiful harbour. You will find restaurants, bars, shops, galleries, terraces, the theatre, the cinema and much more, right in front of the door. In summer you can follow the pulsating life of the capital of Menorca with its wide gastronomic, commercial and especially cultural offer. In winter you can enjoy the slow pace that characterizes the island. You can also easily move where you want to go. You can reach us by taxi or with your own vehicle, parking is not a problem. The city bus-stop is just a few steps away and you can explore both the centre and the port on foot. Live Mahón at your own pace, you will always have your little oasis of calm when you return to the Hostal.
