Número 55 is a comfortable old town house located in Barrio Alto, the oldest part of Órgiva. It has been sympathetically renovated in a clean, modern style. It has a well equipped fitted kitchen, a good bathroom with shower and bidet and a spacious bedroom with a large comfortable bed and ample storage. There is air conditioning providing heat in winter and fresh cool air in summer in the bedroom and kitchen/lounge. The property has a roof terrace with views of the town and surrounding mountains.

We have enjoyed welcoming guests to Spain since 2005. Número 55 is our latest venture. We like to provide a personal service. We check guests in and out in person, we live nearby and are always ready to help if needed. We have lived in the area for 30 years and can provide helpful information about beaches, shopping, activities etc

Orgiva is the capital of the Alpujarras, a range of mountains between Granada and the sea. Within easy walking distance of the property can be found a good selection of bars and restaurants, two launderettes, a couple of gymnasiums, pharmacies, supermarkets, gift shops, a sports centre and the municipal swimming pool - open between mid June and September. Orgiva is a good base for exploring the area being in easy reach of Granada, the Sierra Nevada ski station, beaches and coastal towns and the famous white villages that are scattered around the mountains north of the town.
