Villa Essence, on Lanzarote, is a unique villa in a rural location with heated salt-chlorinated pool, jacuzzi and stunning ocean & mountain views. The villa is situated just on the brow of the hills on the south side of the island in the peaceful village of Conil commanding far-reaching views of the southern mountains and ocean out to the islands of Fuerteventura and Isla de Lobos. Though rural it is only 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the main tourist centres of Puerto del Carmen and the marina at Puerto Calero. With a small local shop and a tapas bar within walking distance, and larger supermarkets just 5 minutes away in Macher and Tias, the villa is perfectly positioned for a relaxing stay. For those more energetically inclined the villa has a number of excellent walks closeby and easy access by bike to all manner of cycle routes, from the easy cruise to the seriously challenging. The villa is located directly on the newly created GR131 walking/mountain biking route which spans the island from Playa Blanca in the SW to Orzola in the NE - it literally goes past the gate! Built summer 2019 is our 7 x 3.5m solar/electric heated pool & fully equipped bike store.

A warm welcome to Villa Essence from the owners, Debbie and Richard. Richard is a keen cyclist and came to the island first in 2008 to train for long distance cycling events. It soon became his favourite destination for early season bike training - the variety of terrain and the dramatic landscapes provide a fantastic range of routes depending on how energetic or relaxed you are feeling on the day. Debbie is more of a sun-worshipper and enjoys relaxing around the pool. When renting a villa for ourselves we had gravitated towards the southern side of the island though prefer the quiet and privacy of rural locations, rather than the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. When looking for a place of our own on Lanzarote we chose Villa Essence, not only for the facilities and space it provided, but because of it's fabulous position. We have panoramic views of the southern mountains, ocean and islands, a peaceful location with dark star-filled skies and easy access by bike or car to the whole island. *** LATEST NEWS *** Our pool has now been changed over to a salt-water chlorination system. Self-regulating and keeping the pool in perfect balance without harsh chemicals! For a softer, safer swim, great for children and those with sensitive skin. Since summer 2022 we have also been "full solar" with a 6kWh solar panel installation that sees us Net-Zero over a year and from August '24, full latest model air conditioning!

Cleaning policy: Villa Essence is an entirely private detached villa on it's own 1000 m2 plot with it's own private pool and at this time represents the safest type of holiday accommodation. Our guests should be reassured that all government recommended procedures for cleaning/disinfecting will be carried out prior to arrival. Smoking or vaping. Please note that smoking or vaping is not permitted within the villa itself but is permitted in the grounds. We do ask that guests who choose to smoke are considerate of their surroundings and not leave butts or ash in the spaces. Thank you. Please note that, in order to provide additional security for guests, the outside driveway/pathway and the secure bike store are equipped with CCTV. Please note that it is a requirement under Spanish Law (Real Decreto 933/2021) that all guests are registered with the Ministerio del Interior prior to arrival. Whilst previously this only applied to those over 16, from January 2024 it now applies to all guests, including children having individual passports or identity documents.
