The cabin is a traditional Finnish log cabin in the middle of peaceful woods and close to the Kitinen river. It’s a perfect hideaway for a couple or a family with two to three kids. The wood-heated sauna at the cabin is an experience in its own class compared to an electric sauna. After enjoying the sauna you can enjoy sitting by the fire in the barbecue hut or by the fireplace in the living room.
I'm a writer, theologian and a retreat director. I have travelled the world myself quite a bit so I won't have problems welcoming people from various cultural backgrounds.
The neighbourhood is very quiet. The cabin is practically in the middle of the woods and it is a seasonal matter whether you will have any neighbours or not. For the larger part of the year you will be enjoying the peace of Lapland all by yourself. The services are 5 kilometres away at Luosto skiing center. There you can find a convenience store, café and a small cluster of restaurants. Nordic skiing and downhill skiing is available in the wintertime. In the summer and fall you can go hiking or mountainbiking in the area.
