Colours and interior were carefully chosen by a designer with strong roots to Ylläs who got inspired by the nordic lifestyle, the harsh nature and the unique colours of Lapland. The design can be described as rustic-modern, thus a mix between modern functionality and traditional simplicity. This creates a symbiosis with the nature and a feeling of cosiness.

Milis Chalet Ltd is a small family-owned business. The Brunner-family has its roots in Switzerland and Finland. We have wonderful memories of Ylläs from different holidays. As a tribute to his parents, Michael decided to build a traditional log cottage in Ylläsjärvi where people can gather with family and friends, because we think that is what really matters in life.
