Sessius 1622 is a design-driven boutique manor housed within the 17th century Château des Cologny. Spread out on three floors with an impressive courtyard and a cozy garden overlooking Mont Blanc, the house was recently renovated in a style that draws inspiration from the owners’ design and international collection.Each room is decorated differently with collectors’ and design pieces to make our guests feel welcome in our unique manor. Important note: the manor was planned and built 400 years ago and therefore it is not possible to accommodate an elevator. Unfortunately, at this stage we cannot welcome guests living with disabilities that prevent them from climbing staircases. Our garden is a cosy nest at the foot of the Jura, housing colors and scents throughout the four seasons. Tall linden trees shelter some 50 different varieties of camellias. Over 60 plants of roses interact with slim and tall cypresses, with summer pear trees and with a climbing grapevine. We promote biodiversity to provide a safe haven to birds, insects and other fauna from the region. “Gentle Living” is our philosophy and source of inspiration. Each guest is welcomed at the manor as our own personal guest. We do our best to keep the property as a relaxing heaven free of stress. We promote and practice respect for our guests, our employees and our neighbors. The property dates from 1622 and is a great example of French architecture from the region. We are committed to preserving the historical features of the manor and investing in restoration and renovation. We therefore will be grateful if our guests join our spirit and efforts by treating the property with caution and respect. Sustainability: At the manor we only work with natural materials, from the wool carpets to the cotton bed linens and towels. We try our best to avoid plastic: in each room we serve sparkling and flat filtered water in glass jars that are washed daily. We source organic food mainly locally and from small producers.

The manor is located in the centre of Cessy, a small village just 15 kilometres from the Geneva and a few kilometres from Gex and Divonne les Bains. At a walking distance from the manor, guests will find a small supermarket, bakery, a pharmacy, a newspapers kiosk and a hair saloon. An Italian pizzeria and a traditional French café are also reachable on foot. In the immediate vicinity there are two golf courses and several sites for horseback riding, hiking and biking. Sessius 1622 is located in Cessy, France, at a short distance from Geneva International Airport, Palexpo and many UN Organizations, banks and company headquarters. While we can organise transfers to & from Geneva airport and Geneva train station, the property can be easily reached by public transportation – bus F from Cornavin train station to Cessy Centre.
