Coming from a family of wine growers from father to son, and daughter since 1802, Michel Gonet created its eponym Champagne brand in 1973 with one leitmotiv, being the creation of fine and environment-friendly Champagnes. Nowadays, Charles-Henri, Frédéric and Sophie, his three children, are succeeding their father and continue to spread his vision : the Gonet estate is above all synonymous with audacity and adventure. Our main philosophy is sharing. Sophie, Gonet’s daughter who is in charge of the Champagne production, strongly defends our will of excellency when it comes to our wines. In a spirit of professionalism, but also to welcome our champagne and wine lover guests, Sophie redecorated the headquarters surrounded by the vineyards in Avize. In 2011, she bought a private mansion, which was built in 1986 in a neo-gothic style, in the middle of the Avenue de Champagne in Épernay Please note that the Villa Signolle has 5 guestrooms, we are not an hotel and therefore are not allowed to enter the room during your stay. Your room is private and we are only cleaning the room on request, with your permission, for long stays.

Please note that this is not an Hotel but a Chambre d'Hôte. We cannot clean the rooms every day, once the key is given to you, we cannot enter the room. There is no personnel in the Villa during the night. The rooms are on the first and second floors and we don't have any elevator. At Champagne Michel Gonet, we offer you the opportunity to stay for a peaceful or sparkling night in one the 5 rooms of our guest house with a view over the Avenue de Champagne or the surrounding historical vineyards. Your stay will include breakfast, A tasting of 3 of our champagnes in the Villa, the access to the library with free champagne and wine. Our rooms, inside the mansion in Epernay, are just like Sophie ; all unique and personalized, a blending of charm and history of the family, letting us discover the members of the Gonet family who contributed to the development and the personality of the Michel Gonet house. The library is a free-to-go space, and can allow you to take a tea, or a fresh drink, even champagne, in order to refresh or warm yourself up at any time. In our small, you will find books about the Champagne area or about wine. We would be pleased to welcome you and to guide you while you learn everything about the region.

Located in the famous avenue de Champagne, sleep in the heart of Epernay. Right in the middle of the avenue, you will be able to access a lot of different tours and tastings in the capital of Champagne. A lot of restaurants and shops are few minutes away from you, in the city center at the end of the avenue. Free parking spots are available in front of the house, and in various streets around.
