On Scotland’s beautiful western coast, the Anchor Hotel and Seabed Restaurant in Tarbert provides luxurious accommodation and fine Scottish breakfasts. Overlooking the harbour and featuring a high-quality restaurant and relaxing bar, the Anchor also offers free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. Each room has en suite bathroom facilities with shower and complementary toiletries and a luxury bed. All have a TV, hairdryer, iron, telephone and tea and coffee facilities, and many have sea views. Breakfast makes use of fine, local produce. The Anchor’s full Scottish includes black pudding, beans, sausage, mushrooms, tomato and a potato scone, and there is smoked salmon with scrambled eggs or Loch Fyne smoked haddock with poached eggs. Pastries, yoghurts, tea and coffee are also on the menu. Tarbert has its own 9-hole golf course and stunning scenery, with the hotel looking out over East Loch. The village is just over 1 hour’s drive from the spectacular Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
