Set in gardens, Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel features a spa and award-winning restaurant. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Bath Abbey. The bedrooms have private bathrooms with free toiletries and bathrobes. With marble and mahogany decor, rooms have satellite TV and tea/coffee facilities. Many have garden views. With fountains, ponds and a terrace, Bath Spa Macdonald Hotel also has a spa, which features a swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, candlelit treatment rooms and fitness centre. The Vellore Restaurant is set in the former ballroom of the grand property, and serves a British menu and world wine list. The Alfresco Restaurant and Terrace offers fruity cocktails and wonderful views. Just 10 minutes’ walk from Bath centre, Macdonald Hotel Bath Spa is surrounded by the Somerset countryside. Bath’s Roman Thermae Spa is a 15-minute walk away. Situated in a separate wing of the hotel and accessed via courtyard gardens. The room includes a bed, flat-screen satellite TV, desk and safe. The en suite marble bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, toiletries and hairdryer.

The credit/debit card used to book a pre-paid rate must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel. Please note that failure to do so will result in an alternative payment method being required.
Spa treatments are available at an additional fee and must be booked in advance. Spa facilities including the pool are limited and need to be booked prior to arrival at the hotel to avoid disappointment.
Children up to 16 years old can use the swimming pool between 8:00 to 11:00 and 15:00 to 18:00 within the designated children's lanes and must be accompanied by an adult. Children do not have access to the Thermal Suite and Hydro Pool.
Hotel Residents: access to the leisure facilities are allowed from 12:00 on the day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure. An exception to this is if you have a spa treatment booked before 12:00 on day of arrival or 11:00 on day of departure.
Day spa guests: access to the leisure facilities are allowed up to a maximum of 90 minutes both before and after spa treatments.
For dinner-included rates, a GBP 30 voucher per person will be provided for a la carte menu.
Please note that dogs are permitted in ground-floor rooms at a charge of GBP 20 per room per night. This includes the use of a dog basket and dog bowl. Guide/service dogs are free of charge.
