We strongly believe that staying away from home shouldn’t mean you have to forgo comfort or convenience. Your accommodation shouldn’t be somewhere to simply sleep, but something that should enhance your stay and take it to the next level. The property features a striking vaulted ceiling with exposed oak beams, creating a warm and inviting space full of rustic character. Set in peaceful surroundings, it offers the perfect retreat while still being just a short drive from the award-winning beaches of Saunton and Woolacombe. Ideally located, Ilfracombe is only 5 minutes away, Braunton just 10 minutes, and Barnstaple can be reached in 20 minutes. Whether you're looking to unwind or explore the best of North Devon, this converted barn offers the ideal base for a relaxing and memorable stay.
Step into this spacious barn conversion offers a bright open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area—perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Downstairs are two comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bath, separate shower, toilet and sink. Upstairs, the large master bedroom features an en-suite with bath and shower mixer taps. To suit your needs, each bedroom can be arranged — with either two single beds or a king-size bed. If you have a preference, simply let us know at least 48 hours before your arrival. We’ll do our utmost to accommodate your request, depending on availability of linen and staffing.
When it’s time to enjoy the outdoors, step out onto your private deck, relax in the large grassy area with picnic tables, and make use of the dog-friendly space for one well-behaved dog. Guests also have access to a shared games room—just opposite the cottage and up the stairs—featuring a pool table, basketball arcade, table football, books, and a Bluetooth speaker.
Our beautiful rural location means mobile signal isn’t available, so we recommend ensuring Wi-Fi Calling is enabled on your device to stay connected. For added peace of mind, a landline telephone is available in the games room for emergencies, should the internet be temporarily down.

We kindly request that guests refrain from entering any gated or clearly marked private areas. The owners reside next door, and occasionally, guests have inadvertently approached their home, which can startle their dogs. Please be aware that the dogs roam freely within their side of the property, so it’s important not to enter that space.
You may also notice free-range animals and children nearby. As the owners’ garden backs onto a shared lane, we kindly ask all guests to drive slowly and with extra care. Signage has been placed along the lane as a helpful reminder.

Guestflow is a trusted third-party platform we use to streamline the pre check-in process. Through Guestflow, guests MUST complete important steps, including uploading a photo ID securely ahead of arrival (required for insurance and fraud prevention).
Please note that a breach of quiet hours will incur a £50 fee.
Any evidence of smoking will result in an additional fee to cover cleaning and repair costs.
Waste management rules will be provided. Failure to follow them will result in a £150 fee.
Standard late checkout fee: £10 per hour for approved late check-outs.
Unauthorised late checkout fee: £50 per hour if cleaners are already en-route or on-site and unable to proceed, plus the cleaning fee.
Only ONE pet allowed (small dog, house trained) with a fee per night, and access to bedrooms or furniture is strictly prohibited.
The refundable damage deposit will be returned within 7 days of your departure, minus £3 admin fee, upon a successful property inspection.
