Although a quiet rural hamlet, Whitnage is only 1/2 a mile from the main road and just two miles from the M5 and Tiverton Parkway railway station. The town centre is less than ten minutes and we have a choice of 4 or 5 places to eat locally, a local shop and a regular bus service within a mile. Junction 27 offers easy access to Cullompton, Exeter, Taunton and Wellington and the A361 for Barnstaple, Exmoor and North Devon. The local pub (The Redwoods Inn) is just over half a mile and guests regularly walk to and from (weather permitting). We have had reports of SAT NAV systems suggesting strange routes (!) so we advise following the directions we provide for the last mile or so of your journey. We routinely offer a choice of rates 'with and without breakfast' however on a few occasions breakfast is not available (for example during family holidays). If only one rate is displayed, it will be 'room only' (without breakfast). When two rates are displayed, one is the 'room only' option and the other (with the 'breakfast included' icon) is the 'bed and breakfast' rate.
