Datada del 1438, la històrica Porta de la Catedral es troba al cor de Canterbury. Antigament allotjament per a pelegrins, l'hotel és anterior a la porta contigua a la catedral de Canterbury i presenta bigues de fusta i terres inclinats. Les habitacions disposen de TV, telèfon i instal·lacions per preparar te i cafè. Totes les habitacions tenen assecador de cabells i bany compartit o privat. Cathedral is undergoing refurbishments work at the rear of the hotel. Works may take place from 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
Due to the nature of the building, there are quite a lot of stairs.
The hotel is in a central location in the pedestrianised city centre, however, guests are welcome to drive to the hotel's front door for unloading prior to parking.
Parking vouchers for the public car park cost GBP 13 for 24-hours parking.
