Once an elegant 19th Century home, the "Lauriston" as it was called then was converted into a hotel in 1933. In 1950, the property recieved extensions and alterations and operated under the new name: "Cecil Court Hotel" - a name it still holds to this very day. A 2-minute walk from the shops and bars of Poole Hill, Cecil Court Hotel offers accommodation in a central Bournemouth location. It has a bar, free Wi-Fi. Standard rooms are available, along with larger deluxe rooms with elegant furnishings. All rooms have an en suite shower or bath, a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are offered in every room. Cecil Court Hotel is around 6 minutes’ drive from Bournemouth Train Station and just 10 minutes’ walk from Central Gardens. 24-hour heating is not included in winter period rates and is controlled by an automated thermostat from 09:00 to 17:00, as well as 23:00 to 06:00. The heating will therefore be enabled to maintain average room temperature; an additional oil heater can be provided at the running cost of GBP 15 per day.
Alternatively, winter blankets are available free of charge from reception.
