Alternatively there is a bus stop outside the hotel, and from there a bus in to town takes 3 minutes. York Railway Station is just a 10-minute walk or few minutes by car, and the Elmbank has limited parking. There is also a bus stop near the hotel, with sightseeing tours going in to town. York Racecourse is a few minutes' away.
