Farleigh Lodge is the middle lodge on our site and is the one closest to our cottages. It utilises a beautiful combination of natural cedar, full height windows and oak flooring. It provides contemporary, stylish accommodation near Longleat with a generous master bedroom & en-suite along with a large double / twin second bedroom, third twin room and a family size bathroom. Farleigh lodge has integrated appliances:– cooker, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, providing you with ample space in the open plan living area. Solar panels and underfloor heating deliver an environmentally friendly holiday experience in rural Somerset. Our lovely holiday lodges are comfortably furnished including quality contemporary furniture, crisp white bed linen and fluffy towels. You’ll enjoy modern entertainment facilities with flat screen SMART TV’s, Wireless Bluetooth Speakers and recently upgraded wireless broadband access. Each lodge has their own private patio overlooking one of the 3 ponds. We pride ourselves on being baby-friendly and are keenly aware of just the type of equipment that helps make your life easier and like a home-from-home. We can provide wooden cots for the younger babies and travel cots for the older ones, along with bed guards, highchairs, sterilisers and changing mats. Just let us know before you set off your exact requirements. Set in four acres of grounds, there is plenty of open grass for BBQs and ball games at By The Byre. A few minutes’ drive away from Longleat Safari Park with good access to Bath, Bradford On Avon, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Stonehenge, Wells, Glastonbury and much much more! Our luxury self catering holiday lodges are just a short 10 minute drive from Longleat Safari Park. The local market town of Frome has regular Independent markets and the award-winning White Row farm shop also has a restaurant/café, fish & chip shop and play park! Less than three miles away is the vibrant town of Frome. With its historic buildings and beautiful independent shops, alongside a thriving contemporary arts scene, it has been highlighted as one of the ‘Best Places to Live in Britain’ by The Times. Frome is also the original Somerset Market Town, and this tradition continues today with regular weekly markets and, on the first Sunday of each month during the summer, ‘The Frome Independent’ - a mini festival bringing together the best artisan food and drink, artists and designers, local produce, plants, home wares and street entertainment. A ten minute drive takes you to the famous Longleat House and Safari Park for which the owners of By The Byre are able to offer their guests a 20% discount on a one day ticket. The splendid Georgian City of Bath with its museums, street cafes, boutiques and Roman baths is 12 miles away, and within easy reach by car are a number of visitor attractions such as Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge and Stonehenge, and historic towns including Bradford on Avon, Glastonbury and Wells.
