The privacy, peace and quiet are the most popular comments we get. Being seperate from our house (and having it's own entrance) guests can come and go whenever they chose.
The room is spacious, and well equipped with a kitchenette. Complimentary milk, coffee, tea and orange juice are all at hand.
Your breakfast is delivered to your room too, at your specified time. So no rushing around if you want a lie in.
We're here to help to ensure you enjoy your stay at Glen House. We can advise on local places of interest to visit, walks and of course to eat and drink.
Manthorpe is a small village between Bourne and Stamford. There is plenty to do and see within a 15 mile radius. The lovely stone towns of Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham are close by. Rutland water, Burghley House, Grimsthorpe Castle are only 10 minutes away. The famous Bowthorpe Oak is a 5 minute walk from your door.
For those wishing to shop, Peterborough's Queensgate shopping Centre is only 15 minutes by car.
We are lucky to have a wide choice of pubs and restaurants local as well. From a pie and a pint, to Michelin Star, and we would be pleased to help with ideas and booking evening meals. Or of course, you can order a take away can be delivered, and chill in the room.
