The beautiful village of Comrie in the heart of scenic Strathearn, Perthshire, lies on the banks of the River Earn, at the meeting of Glen Lednock and Glen Artney. The Scottish Highlands rise to the North. The bustling small town of Crieff is only a ten minute drive, and both Perth and Stirling can be reached in half an hour. The cultural cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow are both approximately one hour away, where you can enjoy a host of attractions. Heather Cottage is only a five minute walk from the centre of the village, where you will discover a great selection of shops including a butcher, two convenience stores (open early to late), baker, delicatessen, fruit and veg shop, general store, pet shop, pharmacy / chemist, craft / gift shops and post office. There are two hotels in the village, The Royal and The Comrie Hotel, both of which serve food as well as having Dog friendly public bars. There is also the Deil’s Cauldron restaurant which serves excellent food (booking is a must). During the day, the Comrie Café and Hansen’s Deli serve wholesome lunches and snacks,
