Rooms also feature a flat-screen TV and free tea and coffee. The AA Rosette-winning restaurant at Langdale Chase serves a table d’hote dinner menu amongst panoramic lake views. Lunches are available on the lovely garden terraces and balconies. With its very own jetty, Langdale Chase can provide sailing days and lessons on the lake. Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, is a 1.5-hour drive from the hotel. Windermere town and rail station are a 5-minute drive away.
