The place to be for a thoroughly enjoyable, comfortable and tranquil stay on the sunniest side of the Lyn valley where you wake to bird-song and the sound of bleating sheep in the distance. Fresh home cooking is our speciality. Choose from our extensive breakfast menu. We have our own private car park adjacent to the house for your convenience.
Rockvale House a large Victorian house, was initially the summer residence of a Bristol merchant. Having undergone several changes, it is now an elegant guest house with 6 en-suite guest rooms. The bar is well stocked, and the lounge has an open log fire, comfortable seating and a selection of books for your use. The area is very popular with walkers and cyclists with many scenic routes. Please ask to borrow maps of the local area.
The town centre of Lynton is only a 2 minute walk away; it is linked to the harbour village of Lynmouth by the famous Victorian water powered cliff railway.
