We are a family run business with over thirty years property experience in varying domains. We specialise in the renovation of old and tired properties. Our aim is to provide an amazing place for our guests to come and relax and spend quality time with friends and family. We love nothing more than seeing our guests use the property as a great base to go and explore what is a stunning and historic part of our country.

This incredible former 18th century pub rests within the centre of the popular and vibrant market town Pickering, North Yorkshire. The Lettered Board provides unique accommodation for large groups of friends or families to enjoy time together in a wonderful part of the country. Make some lasting memories at this impressive and unique place. Comprising a superb large "Traditional British" pub space to ground floor which our guests have exclusive use of, and three luxury fully self contained, self-catering apartments on the first and second floors. A parking permit is provided (free of charge) with each apartment. The building was fully renovated throughout in early 2023 to a very high standard. Goathland is a two bedroom apartment situated on the first floor with open views to the front. There are two further apartments, Dalby and Cropton both one bedrooms, located on the second floor. All apartments have a modern kitchen/dining area with numerous appliances. Goathland has a separate lounge with wood burner and views to the front, a terrace area, with seating, leads from the kitchen. All apartments have a sofa bed, each sleeping up to 2 people. Guests have complete and exclusive use of the traditional British pub space on the ground floor. Featuring pool table, dart board, two wood burners and toilets. You can enjoy the cosy and intimate layout with various seating areas on offer, or stand at the grande bar if you prefer. There are numerous fridges behind the bar. There is an enclosed courtyard/beer garden to the rear of the pub, again for exclusive use of our guests. A staircase from the apartments provides access into a private corridor, which leads directly into the pub. There are four fully equiped kitchens in the building in total. Featuring a laundry room and bike store, to the ground floor. We will welcome one well behaved small/medium sized dog to stay in the Goathland apartment. There is no lift at the property.

Ideally located for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, Dalby Forest, Scarborough, Whitby, and the historic walled city of York. Fifty amazing attractions nearby including The Steam Railway, Flamingo Land and Eden Camp. There are two Blue Flag beaches and 8,000 acres of forest, all within half an hour. Pickering is the perfect staycation location for either relaxation or those seeking a more active stay in North Yorkshire. We cater for short stay, long stay and have created the perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire Coast.
