Situated in the heart of Cheltenham, Rooms on The Prom, and set in a grade 2 listed building, the property retains some original features. Each room at Rooms on The Prom has an en suite bathroom, with fluffy towels, linen, free toiletries, a flat-screen TV, kitchenette providing tea/coffee making facilities, with toaster, microwave, mini fridge. Some rooms boast a seating area and a balcony, and overlook the flower gardens. Rooms can only be accessed via stairs and may not be suitable for people with mobility problems. The central location is very convenient for guests arriving by coach, with coaches from all major towns and airports, coming regularly to the coach station located immediately behind our premises. Guests arriving by train would find taxis waiting at the train station, for a 5 minute journey to the Promenade. Whether guests wish to go shopping, meeting friends, eating out at some of the top restaurants, enjoying entertainment at the Everyman Theatre, or Town Hall, or attending one of the many Festivals that Cheltenham is famous for, this is the place to stay. Most of these are literally across the road, everything is walking distance. Montpellier district is a 2-minute walk away, with a variety of boutique shops and bars. Established in 19th century Pittville Pump Room, formerly a spa building, now hosts concerts and exhibitions and it is located 2 miles from the town centre. Overlooking the Promenade Flower Gardens, conveniently placed to visit the local landmarks such as Sudeley Castle, Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucester Cathedral, Tewkesbury Abbey to name a few. Following the Romantic Road route would allow you to visit the local villages while exploring all that the Cotswold have to offer. This on top of all the festivals held in Cheltenham, such as the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Literature Festival, Jazz, and Music Festival.
